Manchester Road Paving, Milling Starts This Week
Paving will continue until the week of July 29.
The Town Highway Division will begin a new phase of road construction beginning this week.
Four roads will be milled throughout the week (grinding two inches off the top of the road):
- Parker St – From Tolland Turnpike to Colonial;
- Oakland St – From North Main to Green Road;
- Summit St – From Green Road to Middle Tpk. East;
- Grove St – From Summit to end.
The town will start curbing and driveway aprons replacement from the previous phase of paving next week, on July 22 on Keeney, Lenox, North Elm and Chapel streets.
