Manchester Road Work Planned for August; Expect Some Traffic
Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Manchester will be reconstructing a few streets in the month of August, and motorists should expect some disruption.
The town will be doing work on Spring Street, Lewis Street, Comstock Road and Arvine Place. This will include drainage improvements and replacement of curbing, concrete sidewalks and metal beam guide rails, the town said.
Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2013 and take approximately four months to complete, the town said. Normal work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
"Motorists should expect some minor disruption of traffic during construction. Project information and updates are available by contacting the Manchester Public Works Department at 860-647-3067," the town said.
The work is being done by Morais Concrete Services, Inc. of Springfield, MA.
