Manchester Schools: Past Spring Titles, 2018 Schedule

MANCHESTER, CT — Despite more snow in the Wednesday forecast, today is the first day of spring, and with the winter sports season now behind us, it is time to look ahead to a multitude of spring sports, and rekindle the optimism that a championship season is on the horizon. Practice is now underway for all seven CIAC-sanctioned spring sports in Connecticut, with track and field being the last to start on Monday.

East Catholic and Manchester high schools have experienced varying degrees of success during the spring campaign, with 24 state titles dating back to 1974 for the Eagles, and eight championships since 1940 for the Indians. Cheney Tech is seeking its first state title in a spring sport.

Here are the state championships won by East Catholic and Manchester in the past, as well as a link to this spring's schedule of contests for all three schools.
