Manchester to Settle With Man Who Sued Over Hospital Transport
South Windsor will share in the payout.

MANCHESTER, CT — The board of directors has decided to settle a federal lawsuit filed by a man who claimed an emergency crew brought him to a hospital against his will, the Hartford Courant reported.
The vote was Tuesday.
The total settlement was for $275,000, but the cost was to be shared by Manchester and South Windsor, according to the story. Arthur Schofield sued the both towns towns, the Ambulance Service of Manchester and Manchester Memorial Hospital about four years ago.
