Manchester Spring Sports: Past Titles, 2019 Schedules

MANCHESTER, CT — The winter sports season is now behind us, spring has officially arrived and practices and scrimmages are now underway for all seven CIAC-sanctioned spring sports in Connecticut. With the coming of the new season comes the hope for success, with the ultimate goal being winning a state championship.

Teams from East Catholic and Manchester high schools have experienced varying degrees of success during the spring campaign, with 24 state titles dating back to 1974 for the Eagles, and eight championships since 1940 for the Indians. Cheney Tech is seeking its first state title in a spring sport.

Here are the state championships won by East Catholic and Manchester in the past, as well as a link to this spring's schedule of contests for all three schools.
