Manchester Stays In Top 10 of Baseball Poll

The Indians won eight of their first nine outings this season.

MANCHESTER, CT β€” A hot stretch of eight wins in nine games to open the season kept Manchester High School in the top 10 of the weekly poll of sports media members for the second straight week.

The Indians (8-1 through April 29) are scheduled to visit East Hartford Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Fairfield Prep (10-1) collected 10 of 12 first-place votes to move into the top spot in the latest balloting.
