
Knowing the pivotal role middle school plays in a child’s education, Kingswood Oxford is hosting an Open House just for families interested in grades 6-8 on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 1:30-3:30pm. To register, click here or call 860-727-5000.
Prospective families should sign in at the Estes Middle School building at 1:30, where current faculty will be on hand to describe KO’s curricular and corcurricular offerings.
At 2pm, Middle School administrators Jane Repp and Kathy Dunn will share insights about KO’s philosophy and curriculum, as well as how important is it to nurture preteens’ intellectual curiosity and pride in “being smart.” During this time, students will attend three mini-classes.

The day will conclude with remarks from Head of School Dennis Bisgaard and current parents. Admissions Office staff will be available to answer questions, and light refreshments will be served. The event will end at 3:30pm.
“Most families understand that KO offers a dynamic academic experience, but it isn’t until they visit campus and engage in conversation with our faculty and current students and parents that they begin to realize the impact that a KO education can have on the life of their child,” said Jim O’Donnell, KO’s Director of Enrollment Management.
