Moped Collides With Vehicle, Building In Manchester: Police

MANCHESTER, CT — A moped hit a building after colliding with another vehicle on Saturday in Manchester, police said.

The crash took place at 8:55 p.m. in the the area of Spruce Street and Maple Street, police said.

According to a report, witnesses said a moped had colloded with another vehicle and then struck a building. Responders located the sole occupant of the moped drifting in and out of consciousness on the ground in front of the building.

He wound up being transported to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center with what a report described as non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other vehicle is "not a suspect," in the crash, police said.
