“My Number One Dream when I came to this Country was to Own a Home”

Ana was referred by her sister, who I had helped obtain a mortgage a couple of years ago.

“For 26 years I have rented from one landlord to the next, what do I have to do buy a home?” “I pay $950 per month and have nothing to show for it”  

I know one thing for sure, when I hear that kind of passion and desire from someone that wants to become a homeowner, my adrenaline really gets activated.   Ana has been working in the same furniture store for a dozen years. Nothing as glamorous as sales, but rather in the warehouse. She had managed to save nearly $10,000, often going without, but never losing sight of her goal to one day own her own home.   We did some work to clean up a couple of old collection items, one for $86 and the other for $45, once cleaned up, her credit was good to go.

Together we worked on a comfortable monthly payment and possible purchase price for a home. Once all this was done and I prepared a preapproval letter, she then made a statement that had my attention, “I am in your hands”.

I referred Ana to a number of referral partners, Realtor, home inspector, insurance agent and attorney. Her team was not in place. From the time we met to the time she purchased her home was just under 90 days. She then shared the following.

“Words cannot describe even begin to describe all of the emotions I feel right now. To say that say that I am appreciative for the opportunity to purchase my own home, is an understatement. I am 41 years old and the best year of my life. May God bless you, I am truly grateful.”  

Ana wrote this 9/30/11, since that time, she has referred numerous friends and co-workers and each time, she personally calls me with the referral and again says thank you. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
