New Police Canine Team On The Job In Manchester
A Manchester Police Department canine team was part of the Connecticut State Police 235th class of graduates introduced this week.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Police Department has a new canine team.
Manchester Officer Corey Fullana and police dog Dakota were part of the Connecticut State Police 235th Patrol K9 Class of graduates introduced Thursday. The teams successfully completed an intensive and rigorous 14-week training program in their pursuit of excellence.
The ten graduating canine teams have concluded an extensive curriculum that encompasses a wide range of skills including locating missing family members, locating critical evidence during investigations, crucial support to law enforcement officers, and community engagement.

"We are excited to have another K-9 team in service, keep an eye out in the community to meet them," Manchester police posted on social media.

- Correction Officer Joseph Garriga and police dog Kane, Dept. of Correction
- Officer Nicholas Capozzo and police dog Kylo, Middletown Police Dept.
- Officer Adam Jaworsk and police dog Jax, West Haven Police Dept.
- Officer Alexander Wojcik and police dog Tracer, Norwich Police Dept.
- Correction Officer Zack Wehr and police dog Reaper, Dept. of Correction
- Officer Nicholas Long and police dog Milo, Stonington Police Dept.
