Notorious Suspected Dealer, 5 Others Arrested in Manchester Raid
Narcotics officers arrested 6 in a Thursday drug raid in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — A Thursday drug raid at a Manchester home resulted in a roundup of suspected customers, accomplices and a notorious accused dealer who jumped out a window and landed amid a group of waiting officers, police said.
On Thursday, officers from the East Central Narcotics Task Force, in possession of a search warrant, raided the home at 87 Spruce St. after receiving "numerous complaints" about drug activity and sales.
The primary target of the operation was “Mecca,” the street name of 26-year-old Corey Menefee, who was arrested on June 13 for possessing 160 bags of fentanyl and more that 15 grams of crack cocaine. Menefee was able to post a $100,000 bond in the case involving 10 narcotics charges and is slated to appear in court on Aug. 23.

In all, Menefee has been arrested by the ECNTF more than five times dating back to 2008.
Officers first observed a woman, later identified as Sarah Marchetti, 37, purchase heroin from the residence and she was arrested for having 10 bags of heroin and a needle on her and held on a $5,000.00 bond, according to a report.

As officers entered the home, Menefee was jumping out a back window and was apprehended by waiting officers, according to a report.
A woman was observed throwing a used needle and was detained, police said.
Seen inside the house with Menefee were Chrishelle Mills, 28, and Tracey Stevens, 53, police said. The home was "riddled with used heroin needles and empty bags along with broken and used crack cocaine pipes," a report indicates. Mills and Stevens were charged with possession of heroin/fentanyl, operating a drug factory, possession of paraphernalia and possession of drugs/paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school.
Task force members seized more than 100 bags of fentanyl/heroin, 9mm ammunition, and an undisclosed amount of cash that Menefee had in his pocket while attempting to flee, according to a report.
The task force also held an active arrest warrant for Menefee for sale and possession of heroin. In addition to the arrest warrant, Meneffe was charged with possession of narcotics, the sale of narcotics, operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs/paraphernalia within 1,500 feet of a school, possession of drugs within 1,500 feet of a school with the intent to sell, criminal possession of ammunition, and interfering, according top a report.
Menefee’s total bond was set at was held on $300,000.
While police were inside the home, Thomas Lane and Edward McLennon knocked on a window, according to a report. Lane and Edward were looking for $50 worth of crack cocaine to purchase from “Mecca,” and were arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine.
