'Oklahoma' Auditions Slated At Little Theatre Of Manchester

The curtain will go up in the fall.

MANCHESTER, CT - The Little Theatre of Manchester is seeking what is is describing as a "a multi-racial cast" for its November 2016 production of the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic "Oklahoma."

Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, May 15 at 6 p.m. and Monday, May 16 at 7 p.m. at Cheney Hall, 177 Hartford Road.

Callbacks, if needed, will be held on Tuesday, May 17.

The play is set in the frontier days of the old West, providing a colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story.

This show features a score filled with landmark songs such as, "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin,’" and "People Will Say We’re in Love," and "Oklahoma!"
