Police: Manchester Woman Had Crack Pipe, BB Gun in Vehicle
The woman was arrested following a traffic stop on Wednesday morning.

East Windsor police arrested a Manchester woman after finding a crack pipe and a BB gun inside her vehicle following a traffic stop on Wednesday morning.
An officer was flagged down by a man around 9 a.m. this morning to report a suspicious vehicle parked on Winkler Road near the train tracks.
The man told police he observed the occupants throwing beer cans from the vehicle. Officers responded to the location and the vehicle began to leave the area.

Officers initiated a traffic stop a short distance away.
After an investigation, officers seized a black BB pistol (pictured) and a crack pipe from inside the vehicle.

Nicole Barnard, 28, of 15 Pioneer Circle in Manchester, was arrested on charges of weapons in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
East Windsor police posted a photo of the BB gun on their Facebook page and wrote the following:
The pictured BB pistol looks like a real firearm until closely examining it and picking it up. We post this to remind citizens that although not real, BB and airsoft guns pose a danger to the police because it is hard to identify them as not real when making split second decisions. Although children were not involved in this specific case, it is important for parents to monitor their children with these guns and to explain to them the potential dangers.
