“Recommendations Create More Referrals”

This was a recommendation I just received from Mary Beth, a Realtor I recently worked with to get her clients a mortgage that were  previously  denied. The clients were great to work with and Mary Beth got an A plus for the great job she did with her clients.

"Joe and his team came through for a client of mine that had been turned down for a loan due to a status change in employment (from W2 to a 1099). Joe methodically assessed their situation and thought outside the box in how to get the job done BEFORE it was due! The situation restored my faith in the lending industry. It seems unconscionable there are credit-worthy Buyers who hit roadblocks and think they're out of the game. I am so glad he was introduced as another option for my clients!"

I was recently invited to connect with someone on Linkedin. I was blown away by the number of connections he had (over 9,000). That is three times the number that I have. I was also impressed by the number of endorsements. He was doing an extraordinary job in this area as well. However, there were only two recommendations, which was surprising.

Sure the connections and the endorsements are great, but to me it is all about the recommendations. When someone takes the time to share about their experience of working with you, there is nothing more important. Most importantly, when others read them, there is nothing that shows more credibility.
