Stolen Car Rams Manchester Cruisers, Suspects Caught In Foot Chase
Two teens in a stolen car were captured in Manchester Tuesday, a report indicates.

MANCHESTER, CT — Two teenage stolen car suspects rammed a pair of Manchester police cruisers after being corralled Tuesday, authorities said.
At 11:11 a.m. Tuesday, a Manchester officer on routine patrol located a reported stolen vehicle traveling southbound on Adams Street, according to an incident report.
Additional patrol units responded to the area and and boxed in the vehicle while it was stopped in traffic on Hilliard Street near the intersection of New State Road, according to an incident report.

The driver attempted to flee while putting the vehicle in reverse and ramming a police cruiser, then then accelerating forward into another cruiser, according to an incident report.
The two occupants of the stolen vehicle then fled on foot into a wooded area, but officers gave chase and were able to apprehend them both, according to an incident report.

No injuries were reported.
The suspects were identified as, 18-year-old Xavier Roman, of Hartford, and 19-year-old Efrain Nunez of Hartford.
The driver of the vehicle, Roman was charged with, larceny of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor Vehicle, interfering with an officer, criminal attempt to commit second-degree assault (two counts),operating a motor vehicle without a license, and evading responsibility. He posted a $100,000 cash-surety bond and was issued a court date of March 26, in Manchester.
The passenger of the vehicle, Nunez, was charged with, conspiracy to commit larceny of a motor vehicle, and interfering with an officer. He posted a $50,000 cash-surety bond and was issued a court appearance on the same date.
