The driver of a stolen truck was wanted on several warrants, Manchester police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A wild ride involving a wanted man through Manchester and into East Hartford ended with a recovered stolen vehicle and plenty of charges against an East Hartford man, police said.
Police said that, just after 3 p.m. on Thursday, they received a call from a motorist about a white pickup truck with a flat tire in the area of the Spencer Street exit off Interstate 384 who said he believed was involved in the theft of his trailer. The man said he was following the vehicle toward East Hartford.
About a minute later, a second 911 call was received and the caller reported that the white pickup was racing through Downey Drive and it stopped after losing a tire, according to an incident report.
