MANCHESTER, CT — In addition to closing schools and town offices, the latest storm has prompted a few changes in Manchester.
A parking ban is in effect until 6 a≥mn. Tuesday, but plows will likely be in the streets much later than that.
The Manchester Fire Department has increased staffing on all Engines for a Shift strength of 30.

An additional battalion chief has been on duty. The Ambulance Service of Manchester is being staged out of fire stations.
Trash and recycling curbside collection will not occur on Monday. The normal collection schedule will be pushed back one day for the remainder of the week.

"Residents should keep their trash and recycling bins away from the streets and sidewalks until after snow cleanup has been completed," town officials said.
