MANCHESTER, CT — A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with a threat made to Manchester High School in May, police said.

The teen has been charged with first-degree threatening and breach of peace. First-degree threatening is a felony in Connecticut.

The threat was phoned in on May 16, police said. No harm came to anyone on campus, police said.

State law prohibits law enforcement agencies to release the names of juveniles charged.

A separate threat was made to MHS via email four days earlier. That case is still under investigation, police said.
