Teen Stabbed Multiple Times At A Dunkin' Donuts In Manchester: Cops

MANCHESTER, CT — A Monday night altercation turned into a stabbing at a Manchester Dunkin' Donuts, police said.

At about 8:20 p.m., Manchester officers responded to the Dunkin' Donuts at 255 Middle Turnpike West after a 911 caller reported a stabbing. Two people involved in an altercation had left before police arrived, according to an incident report.

Police also learned that the stabbing victim, a 19-year-old Manchester man, had been transported to Manchester Memorial Hospital by a private vehicle, according to an incident report.

The report says that witnesses at the scene said a homeless man was asked to leave the Dunkin' Donuts and a heated argument ensued. The 19-year-old attempted to intervene in the dispute and was stabbed in the head, neck and back and is currently in stable condition and is speaking with investigators who are working to identify the suspect, police said.

The suspect fled the scene, police said.

Investigators late Tuesday Morning said they had identified and located the other person involved in the incident. He is cooperating with the investigation but no arrests had been made as of early Tuesday afternoon.
