MANCHESTER, CT — The traffic signal at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road and the Interstate 84 Exit 62 ramps has been repaired and is fully operational, town officials said Thursday.

Temporary stop signs had been in place for about a week after a traffic light was damaged by a dump truck.

According to police, the dump truck became entangled in the wires associated with the traffic light at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Road, the Interstate 84 and I-384 ramp, and the center entrance to the Plaza at Buckland Hills shopping area.

That is one of the busiest sections of Manchester in the epicenter of the Buckland Hills commercial district.
