Two Arrested After One Sells Heroin to Undercover Officers in Manchester
The buy/bust operation took place in the area of Spruce and Wells streets.
A Manchester man and a woman are under arrest after members of the East Central Narcotics Taskforce conducted a buy/bust operation in the area of Spruce and Wells streets in Manchester.
The heroin dealers were identified through a lengthy investigation into the illegal sale of heroin in and around the Spruce Street area.
During the operation, police said Torry Mcintyre, 49, was taken into custody after selling nine baggies of heroin to an undercover police officer. Vimari Lopez, 36, was taken into custody after she sold a quantity of heroin out of her home.

After conducting the operation, taskforce members executed a search warrant at a Wells Street home. As a result of this search, taskforce officers seized numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia, $500 in cash, and 51 baggies of heroin.
Mcintyre, of 97 Wells St., was charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of heroin within 1500’ of a school, sale of heroin, sale of heroin within 1500’ of a school, and conspiracy to sell heroin.

His bond was set at $125,000.
Lopez, of 94 Wells St., was charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of heroin within 1500’ of a school, sale of heroin, sale of heroin within 1500’ of a school, and conspiracy to sell heroin.
Her bond was set at $125,000.
Taskforce members also served three additional arrest warrants on Mcintyre.
He was charged with three counts of possession of heroin with intent to sell, three counts of possession of heroin within 1500’ of a school, three counts of sale of heroin, three counts of sale of heroin within 1500’ of a school, and three counts of conspiracy to sell heroin.
Police said these warrants were a result of Mcintyre selling heroin on three previous occasions in and around the Wells Street area. Mcintyre was held on an additional $375,000.00 court set surety bond.
