Warehouse Box Cutter Slashing In Manchester Leads To Arrest

A man was booked on a half-million-dollar bond after a workplace altercation in Manchester Friday, police said.

MANCHESTER, CT — A box cutter attack at a warehouse in Manchester Friday led to an arrest and major assault charge, police said.

It took place Friday morning at the ADUSA Warehouse at 1315 Tolland Turnpike, police said.

According to an incident report, a "physical altercation" broke out between two employees inside the warehouse. One of the combatants sustained a "severe laceration" to the side of his face, which is believed to have been caused by a box cutter, according to an incident report.

The victim, a 25-year-old Bristol man, transported himself to Hartford Hospital following the incident, police said.

The suspected stabber was identified as 25-year-old Joshua Brown. Following the incident, Brown fled the ADUSA Warehouse and was later located at his residence in East Hartford and subsequently taken into custody.

Brown has been charged with first-degree assault. He was being held Friday on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Monday, police said.
