My wife and I have been at our beach house in Marshfield Ma, for the last few days. We have had family and friends join us and the fireworks display Wednesday evening was spectacular as usual.
We are at the end of the street and there is an area where the town set up a large barrel for garbage as folks come off the beach. Each day two or three men come by and empty out the barrel and clean up around the area.
It has been really hot the last few days, even in the morning and each day I watch my wife bring them a bottle of water. Then I watch her thank each of them for doing a great job. She is not willing to take their work for granted, as the work they do makes our surrounding that much nicer.
I am so blessed to be married to Gail for the last 43 years, as I am a better man because she is in my life.
