Wednesday Storms Produce 25-Plus Fire Calls in Manchester
The calls all came through on one shift, including a house fire.

MANCHESTER, CT — Wednesday evening's wacky storm certainly left an impression in Manchester.
Firefighters union representatives said on social media that Shift 3 handled more than over 25 calls for service in a three-hour span on Wednesday, including a structure fire, several flooded basements and multiple lightning strikes.
The biggest call was to 15 Sanford Road after lighting hit a house and it caught on fire, union officials said.

The fire call came in at about 7 p.m., according to the social media posts.
