Work Slated to Start on 9 Manchester Roads Friday
Motorists in Manchester should expect delays starting Friday.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Highway Division is scheduled to begin the third and final phase of road reconstruction on Friday.
The roads will be pulverized, graded, and prepared for paving, town officials said.
The preparation for paving will take approximately three weeks. The roads will be a gravel driving surface with raised structures until the paving process is completed.

Paving is scheduled to begin the week of Sept. 18.
There will be road closures, delays and detours throughout the entire construction period, officials said.

School buses and emergency vehicles will be able to pass at all times, officials said.

- BIDWELL STREET from WETHERELL STREET to KEENEY STREET
- WETHERELL ST from BIDWELL STREET to NO. 165
- LEVEL ROAD from ELIZABETH DRIVE to CONSTANCE DRIVE
- THISTLE ROAD from BRETTON ROAD to HELAINE ROAD
- TRANSIT ROAD from BRETTON ROAD to GREEN MANOR ROAD
- LYME ROAD from BRETTON ROAD to GREEN MANOR ROAD
- LYNCH DRIVE from VERNON STREET to GREENWOOD DRIVE
- LOVE LANE from OLCOTT STREET to CENTER STREET
