4 Charged in Brawl in Storrs

STORRS, CT — Four men were charged after a brawl erupted on Tuesday in a popular commercial area near the University of Connecticut, state police said.

The fight at 134 North Eagleville Road erupted at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday at Sgt. Pepperoni's pizza restaurant, one of several eateries in the plaza, state police said.

One of the four had a minor injury, state police said.

All four were charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace, state police said. Liam Blancaflor, 22, of Haddam was arrested. state police said. Charges were not prosecuted for other individuals, who are unnamed in this article.
