Mansfield 'Nutcracker' Tickets On Sale For December Community Production

Mansfield’s community production of “The Nutcracker” will return to Mansfield Middle School Auditorium in December, with tickets on sale. Mansfield Parks & Recreation and Miss Kelly Productions are presenting the show, according to an announcement on the Mansfield Public Library website. More than 90 local youth will participate in a production combining ballet, gymnastics, theater and tap.

A preview show and story time run from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19. Full performances run from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, and 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20. Preview admission is $8 for all ages. Full-performance tickets cost $10 for ages 3-17 and ages 62 and older, and $15 for ages 18-61.

Buyers can purchase tickets online using activity code 231005, with sections A, B and C corresponding to the shows in chronological order. Tickets and extras also can be purchased at Mansfield Community Center, 10 S. Eagleville Road, Storrs, or Lenard Hall. Limited door tickets may be available beginning one hour before each performance, payable by cash or check only. Tickets are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable.

Personalized program messages supporting performers cost $5 for one line of up to 60 characters, $10 for a half-page or $20 for a full page. The support-message registration listing runs through noon Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Photo sessions cost $10, and photo books cost $35 each. The photo-session registration lists Monday, Dec. 21, noon to 12:01 p.m., but supplies no location. Photo books must be preordered by Friday, Dec. 18, and buyers ordering multiple copies should update their cart quantity.
