4 E.O. Smith High School Students Injured in Boating Accident
Reports state that a boat collided with the students who were practicing rowing on Coventry Lake.
Four E.O. Smith High School students in Mansfield were injured in a boating accident Sunday afternoon on Coventry Lake in Coventry, reports WFSB 3 TV.
The students are on the school’s rowing team, and it appears a boat hit the students that were practicing. None of the injuries are life-threatening reports WFSB 3 TV.
NBC Connecticut reports that ambulances from Coventry, Mansfield, Andover and Columbia all responded.
