A Guided Walk Through Joshua's Trust's Whetten Woods
 Join Botany Professor Emeritus Terry Webster for a natural history tour of this beautiful woodland, located adjacent to the Storrs Center.  Whetten Woods is a 29-acre forested parcel of rolling terrain with a band of wetlands and two groves of evergreens.  As downtown Storrs grows, this property provides a tranquil preserve accessible from Storrs Center.  Dr. Webster's guided tour of Whetten Woods will follow the 1.1 mile trail on the property (~1.5 h walk).  The walk will begin at 12 noon in the parking lot of the Lutheran Church, located on Dog Lane. Children and families are welcome and encouraged to attend.  See you there!
