Survey Rates Willimantic An 'Underrated' Travel Destination

WILLIMANTIC, CT — Willimantic has been identified in a survey as a "hidden gem" in Connecticut that deserves more tourists.

In a list released Monday, AI-powered business growth platform Hostinger surveyed 3,000 travelers to identify the towns they think have the most untapped tourism potential.

Willi had "the most untapped tourist potential," in Connecticut according to the survey."

"Willimantic's brick mill buildings, busy Main Street and creative community give it a character unlike Connecticut's more polished New England towns.
