• With 1st CT Human West Nile Case Announced, How Has Mosquito Testing Gone In Mansfield? (patch.com) — With Connecticut confirming its first human West Nile case of 2026, Mansfield's Fieldstone Drive mosquito testing site has collected 189 mosquitoes so far, with none testing positive. Local and state health officials still urge Mansfield residents to prevent mosquito bites and reduce standing water as West Nile activity peaks statewide into early fall.
