COVENTRY, CT — Coventry Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday morning.

The robbery took place at 11:07 a.m. at the local branch of Key Bank on Main Street in Coventry. The bandit is being described as a "middle aged white male" who stands about 5-foot-8 with "average build." The man was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black and white flannel shirt, a striped knit hat, and sunglasses. He also had on a surgical mask, dark gloves, dark pants and shoes.

No weapon was shown or implied.
