Be a Bone Detective!

Have you ever discovered a bone buried in the soil or lying on the
ground in the woods and wondered whose it was? Here is your chance to
learn how to identify  some of the common types of bones you might find
as you explore the outdoor world! Cheri Collins will use Goodwin’s skull
and bone collection, as well as her own collection of specimens, to
help you learn to look for the important clues scientists use for
identification. If you have a mystery bone of your own, bring it along
and we will identify that, too! Adults and children ages 7 and above.   Sponsored by the Friends of Goodwin Forest (friendsofgoodwinforest.org). Preregistration requested but not required.  860-455-9534 or fgfhampton@gmail.com
