Bestselling Author Daniel Levitin

New York Times Bestselling author and neuroscientist Daniel Levitin will join us at UConn Co-op Bookstore at 1 Royce Circle, 101, Storrs Center, to talk about his new book, The Organized Mind: Thinking Straight in the Age of Information Overload.

Levitin is the author of This Is Your Brain on Music: The Science of a Human Obsession, and The World in Six Songs: How the Musical Brain Created Human Nature.

He is the James McGill Professor of Psychology and behavioral science at McGill University.

In The Organized Mind, he used neuroscience to understand how some people become quite accomplished at managing information flow despite the unprecedented deluge of data that the world is awash in. This is a big and thoughtful book, packed with research and information.
