Charges Filed In November Sports Car Driveway Rollover In Mansfield
A driver whose car hit two parked cars and a house before rolling over in Mansfield in the fall has been charged, state police said.

MANSFIELD, CT β State police have filed charges in connection with a November crash during which a luxury sports car caromed off two parked vehicles and a house before rolling over and hitting a tree in a Mansfield yard, a warrant indicates.
The crash took place at 2:57 a.m. on Nov. 20 along the 900 block of Storrs Road, the local address for that section of state Route 195.
When state troopers arrived at the scene, they located a 2015 BMW I8 with New York plates on its roof against a tree with the driver still inside the sports car, according to a warrant. The porch of a home and two parked vehicles had been damaged by the BMW, according to a crash report.

The driver, a 22-year-old man whose listed address is an apartment complex in Windham, was charged with interfering with police, failure to drive in the proper lane and driving while under suspension, according to a warrant.
The driver, who had a suspended Connecticut license, was taken to Hartford Hospital after the crash with undisclosed injuries and at first gave state police a false name, which delayed the investigation, according to a warrant.
