HuskyTHON is a year-long fundraising effort at UConn benefitting Connecticut Children’s Medical Center that culminates in an 18-hour dance marathon in February. Over the past twelve years, HuskyTHON has become Connecticut’s largest student-run philanthropy and the second largest annual fundraiser for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. This year we are starting something new, a ZombieTHON run! All proceeds benefit Connecticut Children's. Information is below. Sign up TODAY!
Think you have what it takes to survive the UConn Apocalypse? Test your luck on October 25th as the University of Connecticut's department of recreation teams up with HuskyTHON in hosting our first annual ZOMBIE RUN! Get your running sneakers ready, because you may have run the trails of Horsebarn Hill before, but you've never ran them like this. You will be running in the woods, through obstacles, and need I mention the zombie contamination zones? Try and make it through the course without a zombie ripping off your flag and you will officially be recognized as a survivor! Not quite ready to leave your fate in the hands of your Nike Free's? Sign up to be zombified by some of the greatest special effects artists around and chase down your friends down until they wish the apocalypse were yesterday! Let's be serious, everyone's going to die, but no one will ever get hurt. Trust me, you won't want to miss this! http://www.huskython.uconn.edu/zombieTHON/
