Connecticut eastern Railroad Museum's Annual Metal fest

The Connecticut Eastern Railroad Museum will once again be hosting its Annual Metal Fest which opens to the public for its 2014 season. There will numerous blacksmiths demonstrating their skills with numerous public demos. Ride our train to Bridge Street and back to Columbia Junction ($3.00 fare required), tour the railroad equipment and our railroad buildings, take your turn with Armstrong Turntable , take a ride on our hand-powered pump car. Food and beverage will be available to purchase. Also there will be a few bands providing music through-out the day. Hours 10AM to 4PM. Admission Adults $5.00, Ages 8-12 years $1.00, and under 8 - FREE.
