Convocation is the only time prior to graduation that the entire entering undergraduate class gathers as one. It provides time for everyone – students, family members, faculty, and staff – to meet one another, formulate plans for the future, and to think about the collective goals and ideals that define a great University.

Following the ceremony, the Husky WOW! barbeque gave everyone a chance to celebrate the change that was about to begin, for new classmates to find connections, and for families to say good bye (for now) to the members of the Class of ’16.
