COVENTRY, CT — A Thursday afternoon crash closed a major route between eastern Connecticut into north central Connecticut, police said.
The crash, reported at 2 p.m., closed Route 6 between South Street in Coventry and Steels Crossing in Bolton.
Motorists were being advised to seek alternate routes to avoid the area, police said.
