Debate & Public Speaking Summer Camp (Westfield Academy)

[ Week One | 6/9 - 6/13 ]
     We will explore meaningful and relevant topics presented by distinguished outside speakers. We will then discuss and debate these issues.  Perfect for debaters who want to hone their debating skills, especially those who are interested in sharpening their competitive ability. Highly motivated new debaters are welcome with instructor consent.
[ Week Two | 6/16 - 6/20 ]
        We will learn and explore Policy Debating with Cross-Examination in addition to public speaking. Appropriate for approximately rising 4th through 11th graders. We will separate into different groups for elementary and middle/high and based on experience.
[ Week Three | 6/23 - 6/27 ]
       We will learn and explore Parliamentary Debating in addition to public speaking.  Appropriate for approximately rising 4th through 11th graders. We will separate into different groups for elementary and middle/high and based on experience.
