About UConn Girl's Engineering Camp - SPARK
SPARK is UConn’s latest initiative to shrink the STEM gender gap. It is a on-campus summer program. SPARK challenges current 6th - 9th grade female students to incorporate their math and science skills into hands-on projects and fun activities, with the guidance of current female undergraduate engineering students.
There are four sessions:
July 8 - July 14: Coding in Space
July 15 - July 21: Underwater Robotics
July 22 - July 28: 3-D Printing a Better Earth
July 29 - August 4: Engineering Through the Ages
Students can choose to participate in one, two, three, or all four weeks!
