DOVER STRING QUARTET

Formed by students at the Curtis Institute of Music in 2008, the Dover Quartet swept the 2013 Banff International String Quartet Competition, won the grand prize at the 2010 Fischoff Competition, and is now Curtis’s inaugural quartet in residence. The quartet draws from the musical lineage of both the Vermeer and Guarneri Quartets, while also bringing youthful enthusiasm and musical conviction to a repertoire that is truly its own.
