E.O. Smith Girls Volleyball Team Prevails in Rockville Match

The E.O. Smith high school girls volleyball team played Rockville High in Vernon on Thursday, and E.O. took a 3-0 match. 

The game scores were 25-23, 25-17, 25-22.

Standouts for E.O. were: 

• Carly O’Day – 10 kills , 2 blocks

• Megan Leavens – 4 kills, 16 digs

• Olivia Wallett – 8 kills, 3 aces

Standouts for Rockville:

• Amy Eitelman – 17 assists

• Katia Ruesta – 14 digs

• Danielle Wemmell – 5 kills

• Kat Cutting – 4 kills

• Claire Ufongene – 4 kills

E.O. is now 8-1 overall and 5-1 in conference play.

Rockville is now 1-6 overall and 1-5 in conference play.
