A group of staff members is planning this year's MMS Fun Day for the whole middle school on Monday, June 20th. Field Day will begin at 11:10 and run until dismissal at 2:45.
There will be about two dozen activity stations set up around the school and on the playing fields. The Student Council has asked me to see if there are parent volunteers available to help at the various stations. There are both indoor and outdoor options available, and some activities will be more active than others. Re-scheduling the day is not possible, so, only severe weather such as thunder and lightning will cancel the fun. Please dress appropriately for whatever weather that day may bring.
We ask parent volunteers to arrive at 10:45 to allow enough time to review activity directions and understand the day's schedule. We understand that some of you might not be able to stay for the full afternoon. If this is the case, it would be most convenient if those volunteers could work one of two shifts: 10:45 - 12:45 OR 12:30 to 2:30.

Parent participation at the activity stations make this event possible. Those who helped last year told us that they had a great time. Based on feedback after our first field day, we are again making arrangements to provide snacks to parent volunteers!
