Fire Wrecks Home In Mansfield
Several fire departments responded to a house fire in Mansfield Friday.

MANSFIELD, CT — Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire that wrecked a home in Mansfield Friday evening.
The house was on Highland Road, fire officials said.
Fire officials said a "substantial volume of fire" was brought under control relatively quickly, but crews had to "chase hot spots" in areas that were very difficult to access because of fire damage.

No injuries were reported.
Fire officials said due to "limited availability" of local personnel, a dozen fire or EMS companies provided mutual aid. State police and Eversource Energy were also at the scene.
