
A lawn care seminar will be offered by the University of Connecticut Plant Science & Landscape Architecture Department. Topics covered will include how to select the best type of grass for different lawn conditions, renovation or repair options, weed and grub control, mole, shade and moss issues, and fertilizer selection, application timing and the new P legislation. The focus is on sound turf management practices. Common lawn problems will also be discussed. Renovation and lawn repair methods and seeding tips will be covered. Homeowners are welcome to bring their lawn care questions. Pre-registration is recommended due to limited seating.
