Getting Fueled Up for the Holidays: Columbia 8th Graders Plan Breakfast with Santa
Breakfast Event Raises Money for 8th Grade Graduation Dance

On the first Saturday in December, students from Horace Porter School in Columbia will be working hard to fatten up Santa for his Christmas deliveries. Breakfast with Santa, a community event held to raise funds for the 8th grade class’ graduation dance in June, will be held on December 6th, from 7:00 to 11 a.m., at Yeomans Hall in Columbia center.
Tickets are just $5.00 per person. The all-you-can-eat menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, home fries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and orange juice. Walk-ins are welcome. Members of the 8th grade class will be waiting tables while Santa himself visits with kids and kids-at-heart.
Yeomans Hall is located in Columbia’s town hall building at 323 Jonathan Trumbull Highway, also known as Route 87. Parking is available in lots adjacent to the building and at the Horace Porter School on Route 66, within easy walking distance from the town hall building.
