Teams of world-class academic researchers, private industry scientists, and business entrepreneurs will work collaboratively within the facility to develop innovative new technologies in energy, electronics, materials science, microscopy, additive manufacturing, cybersecurity and other fields.

The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. Oct. 14 at the IPB construction site behind UConn’s Public Safety Complex and tennis courts on North Hillside Road.
