Kids Club Event: Canals, Rivers and Waterpower
The Windham Textile & History Museum will host its October Kids Club Activity, “Canals, Rivers and Waterpower”, on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 1 – 2:30pm. Come and learn about canals and rivers and ways that water power was used in the past, and how it is still used today. We will also be having a birthday party for the Panama Canal, which has been in operation for 100 years.
Kids Club Members FREE. General Admission: $5 for children. Adults accompanied by a child are free. All supplies and refreshments are included. Call 860-456-2178 to register.
Now is a great time to join the Kids Club. It costs only $10 for a year membership. We meet on the 2nd Saturday of each month (Except January, July and August.) and explore interesting topics with a local connection. (Recommended for children 5-12 years of age.)
