Mill of the Month Program:  Ponemah Mill - Taftville, CT

On Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 10 am, The Windham Textile and History Museum will sponsor the eighth installment in its Mill of the Month Program.  This month participants will visit the Ponemah Mill in Taftville, CT.  The Ponemah Mill was established in 1867 and for a time was the largest cotton mill of its type in the world.  Cost is $8 per person, $5 for museum members.  Registration is suggested by calling 860-456-2178. 

The tour will be held rain or shine. We will meet in front of the tower at the Ponemah Mill located on Route 97 (Norwich Avenue) where it meets Route 169.
